Ben McCormack, P.T., is a 1999 graduate of the University of Vermont Physical Therapy program*. He has worked since 1999 in outpatient physical therapy, specializing in ergonomics and sports medicine. Ben has operated a private practice in Lyndonville, Vermont, since 2004.

Ben was competitive in the Eastern States Alpine Ski Racing Series, and continues to run competitively. He himself has recovered from several sports-related injuries including patellofemoral syndrome and a complex rotator cuff tear earlier this year. He serves as a guest lecturer on agility training for the Green Mountain Running Camp. He resides with his wife and children near Willoughby Lake in Sutton, Vermont. His private practice, Northern Physical Therapy PC, is located in Lyndonville, Vermont.

Ben will share his knowledge of diagnosing, preventing, and treating common sports injuries in several articles. His first article for visitors of Stadion's site deals with the knee pain, and specifically with the very common pain under the kneecap (patellofemoral syndrome).

* The University of Vermont is known for its studies on movement science. Ben graduated with highest honors, achieving the greatest level of clinical and academic performance within the 1999 class of physical therapy.
