Why I don't watch the Beijing Olympics

I have seen enough of Beijing Olympics here:

These are the images that come to my mind every time I hear a mention
of the 2008 Games.

Why would I want to watch athletes compete and enjoy themselves in
a country whose government forcibly evicted thousands of people
from their homes to make place for Olympic venues or to just
"spruce up the area," who puts thousands of people in prison for
peacefully protesting forced abortions and sterilizations of
thousands of women, and sends to the forced labour camps those who
had a photo of the Dalai Lama?

Athletes and sports officials who went to the Olympic Games in
Beijing show support for the government that treats people like
chattel and even bans Amnesty International web site. And I don't
like looking at people I don't like--so I don't watch those
Olympics.
